Terms of Service

The Oval Updates (the “Service”) is operated by WorkInProgress Platforms Inc., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By starting the bot, taking the free trial, or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. What the Service is
The Oval Updates monitors publicly available posts and official announcements from Donald J. Trump and the White House and sends you automated alerts over Telegram — including affected tickers, an automated read, and a link to the original source. It is an information and alerting tool only. It is not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner, and nothing it sends is a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
2. Eligibility
You must be the age of majority in your province, state, or country and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service.
3. Free trial
New users get a 7-day free trial. No payment card is required to start it, and alerts begin immediately. We’ll remind you before the trial ends. You can stop at any time and you won’t be charged.
4. Subscription & billing
- After the trial, the Service is $5.00 USD per month, a recurring subscription that automatically renews each month until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method $5.00/month on each renewal date.
- We may change the price with reasonable advance notice; the new price applies to renewals after the notice period.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime by sending /cancel to the bot in Telegram. Billing stops immediately and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for — after that, alerts switch off and you won’t be charged again. You can resubscribe anytime with /subscribe.
6. Billing questions
If you’ve been charged in error, or something hasn’t worked the way it should, email us at ovalupdates@gmail.com and we’ll look into it and make it right where appropriate.
7. Not financial advice
Relevance, sentiment, and ticker estimates are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed. They are not, and must not be relied on as, financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always read the original source and do your own research. Trading and investing involve risk, including the possible loss of capital. You are solely responsible for your decisions.
8. Acceptable use
- Don’t resell, redistribute, scrape, or commercially republish the alerts or content.
- Don’t abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the bot or our infrastructure.
- Don’t use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
9. Availability
We aim for fast, reliable delivery but provide the Service on a best-effort basis. We don’t guarantee uptime, that every relevant post will be detected, or that alerts will always be timely or error-free. Delays and outages can happen.
10. Third-party services
The Service is delivered through Telegram and billed through Stripe. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we don’t control.
11. No affiliation
The Oval Updates is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Donald J. Trump, Truth Social, the White House, or any government agency. All content is sourced from publicly available posts and official announcements.
12. Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WorkInProgress Platforms Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any trading or investment losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
